About Us

We’re charged, on behalf of government, with the mission to clean-up the UK’s earliest nuclear sites safely, securely and cost effectively.

## Say hello to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) group

We’re sustainably, safely and securely decommissioning the UK’s earliest nuclear facilities and preparing them for their next use. Our work ranges from reducing hazards at nuclear sites, to delivering a permanent Geological Disposal Facility for radioactive waste and global transport of nuclear materials. We also have a unique role supporting delivery of the Government’s sustainability ambitions and investing in social impact programmes to support the communities around our sites.

The NDA group invests more than £45 million each year in our early careers programme, with more than 1,000 apprentices and graduates currently building experience delivering our mission. We also make significant amounts available each year to develop talent and support future pioneers with PhD bursaries.

Did you know that there are more than 900 different types of roles across the NDA group in total? From business to technology and innovation, engineering to waste management and everything in between, there’s bound to be something that interests you.
