With nearly 13,000 apprentices currently enrolled in programs ranging from Level 2 to Level 6, we offer over 40 different apprenticeship schemes. This means that over 95% of our soldiers start an apprenticeship when they begin their initial trade training.

The type of apprenticeship you undertake will depend on your chosen role in the Army. You’ll receive training relevant to your job as part of your initial trade training. These apprenticeships are designed in collaboration with other employers, ensuring they meet industry standards and are approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.
